The practice begins
Dr. Rekha Sheth begins her dermatology practice in Mumbai. Clinical assessment and a considered approach to treatment form the foundation.

Trained under pioneers
Dr. Rekha Sheth trained in Berlin and worked with Prof. Albert Kligman at the University of Pennsylvania, alongside study visits to dermatology centres in the United States.

The dedicated aesthetic clinic opens at Marine Lines, bringing cosmetic dermatology and clinical standards together under one roof. It remains there today.

Dr. Rekha Sheth helps introduce clinical lasers and laser hair reduction to India, building experience with their use on Indian skin.

CDSI is founded
Dr. Rekha Sheth founds the Cosmetic Dermatology Society of India, creating a forum for education and the exchange of clinical knowledge.

Injectables come to India
Among the first to bring Botox and fillers to Indian patients, Dr. Rekha Sheth helps establish their place in cosmetic dermatology.
